immediate family
and no one can see through you
quite like the ones that grew you
but the line of know & knew you
is thinning
and so i wish to close this chapter
not happily, but ever after
as the new day surely captures
it’s beginning
and though i leave inspiration at that door
finding it was no worry of mine before
when i still knew that writing more was not winning
