i was born a blonde and i spent that day
wondering how the melanin did change
i have come to learn it wasn’t meant to be
now i don’t waste my days hypothesizing
why the blondes laugh at me

it’s not fun you poke
telling rephrased jokes
hypothesize every punch line
have i missed the joke?
i’ve watched melanin change
more than days
now i laugh with the traits
all and all we’ve chose siamese
on and on we go shifting shapes
